Also, sorry to anyone who finds my rants about this irritating, I totally understand, and I also understand if you disagree with me. Just for me personally, I got into making D.I.Y. comics (or maybe I should say comix just to piss people off who think they’re on the outside of some inside joke) because I liked that it was a scene where people could create what they wanted without the worry of some boss coming in and telling people what to do. So I get really irked when these bosses come in and try to co-opt and push around the people who decided they didn’t need them.
