also, regarding adderall, i don’t think it should be prescribed to (or as abused by) as many people as it is, but i do think there are people who truly benefit from it like any other psychiatric medication. i had hypothyroidism for about 8 years before i was prescribed adderall, it literally cured me of it. the thing is, so many assholes who don’t have these kind of metabolic/psychiatric probs are abusing adderall all over the place like crack cocaine, losing weight, staying up all night working with it, and then it ends up being a controlled substance and is often denyed to people like me because i am a young punkish looking person and therefore am going to immediately run home shoot it up into my veins
